Today’s Tasty Tuesday is a recipe for 30 Minute Chili from one of our own, Angie Chavez! I made this for my family and for a function at my boys’ school. It was a hit! I added a cup of beer for extra flavor, and highly recommend it. However it is optional.
30 Minute Chili
- 2 Lb Lean Ground Beef
- ⅓ Chili Seasoning Mix
- 2 – 14.5 Oz Cans Diced Tomatoes with Green Peppers, Celery and Onion
- 2 – 8 Oz Cans of Tomato Sauce
- 1 – 16 Oz Can Black Beans, Undrained
- 1 – 15.5 Oz Can Small Red Beans, Undrained
Brown Beef over Medium-High Heat, Stirring Often, 4 – 5 Minutes or until Beef Crumbles and is No Longer Pink. Drain Well. Return Beef to Pot. Sprinkle Evenly with Seasoning Mix and Sauté 1 Minute over Medium-High Heat.
Stir in Diced Tomatoes and Remaining Ingredients. Bring to a Boil over Medium-High Heat, Stirring Occasionally. Cover, Reduce Heat to Low. Simmer for 15 Minutes, Stirring Occasionally.
