Its that time of the month again! Time to shine the spotlight on a local business that is all around amazing. May’s business of the month is AquaTots, which is owned and operated by Malena Hankins. With summer in full swing AquaTots is the perfect place for your children to learn about safety when swimming as well as swimming lessons. The AquaTots’ mission is to help prevent drownings by working with the community to provide a standard of excellence in teaching children and adults water safety. With years of experience, a comprehensive curriculum, quality swim instructors, state-of-the-art facilities, and convenient locations, AquaTots has it all to serve your family!
The AquaTots swim lessons are available for children 4 months and up. No matter what age your child is, it is NEVER too late to start swim lessons. Their levels are designed to teach children of all ages and abilities. This is such an important lesson for children to learn especially during this time of year.
Malena Hankins is a US Master swimmer, along with being the owner of AquTots Swim Schools. This Kennesaw wonder mom manages to raise four children, three boys and a girl, run four AquaTots locations in Metro Atlanta and Chattanooga, and keep her standing as an international swimmer. Malena uses her talents and passion of swimming for a charitable cause as well. She swam in the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim which took over 8.5 hours and she raised over $5000 for Swim Free – a nonprofit that provides swim lessons to adults and children who cannot afford them. I love her giving spirit and her passion that shines through all that she does!
AquaTots is more than swim schools, it is a place to teach swim safety, with passion.
