The 4th of July is a holiday that is worth celebrating for so many reasons! We have comprised a list of fun and local events that are going to allow you to celebrate this national holiday in style.

Red, White & Brew at The Georgia Acquarium:
Before the 4th, celebrate at Georgia Aquarium’s Red, White & Brew on Saturday, July 1st with unlimited beer, food, live music and over 500 aquatic species! Proceeds from Red, White & Brew benefit Georgia Aquarium’s Sponsored Education Admissions program, teacher development and H20 summer camps!

Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park:

Fourth of July Kennesaw Celebration:
Kennesaw’s traditional pre-Independence Day Salute to America celebration takes place on Monday, July 3 2017 from 6pm to 10pm. The event features two stages of live music, festive entertainment, food vendors, and kid’s activities as well as one of the biggest fireworks displays in North Georgia.The Star-Spangled Fireworks Spectacular are scheduled to begin at 9:30pm, and will be visible from several locations throughout downtown Kennesaw.

Fourth of July Celebration in Marietta Square:
The city of Marietta’s Fourth in the Park celebration begins Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 10 a.m. and includes a parade, free live concerts, museum tours, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.

Fourth of July Celebration in Acworth:
On Tuesday, July 4th, 2017, the City of Acworth and the Acworth Business Association are hosting an Independence Day celebration at Cauble Park. The celebration features live music starting at 4pm.  At dark, watch as one of the largest fireworks shows in Cobb County takes place over Lake Acworth. Food and drinks will be available from vendors starting at noon.

City of Woodstock 4th of July Spectacular:
Parade starts at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road, travels down Main Street
and ends at Sam’s Club near Hwy 92. Rain or Shine, unless inclement weather! The festival will begin at 11am and goes until 3pm. Fireworks begin at dusk.

City of Douglasville 4th of July Fireworks:
Enjoy 4th of July Fireworks starting at dark on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. The best viewing location is the front parking lot of Arbor Place mall or the Walmart parking lot.

Stars & Stripes & Cartersville Fourth of July Celebration:
The July 4th Celebration at Dellinger Park is more than an Arts & Crafts Show. It is a community-wide event that includes Arts & Crafts, Children’s activities, Entertainment and Fireworks. All activities, other than the downtown parade, are at Dellinger Park on Pine Grove road. Park activities start at 4:00 p.m. and continue until 10:00 p.m.

Powder Springs Independance Day Celebration:
Downtown Powder Springs is the place to be on July 4th. The fun begins at 7 p.m. The festivities will end with a spectacular fireworks show. This event is free and open to the public. Games, inflatables, vendors, and food will also be available throughout the celebration.

City of Canton 4th of July Celebration:
Patriotism and fireworks at its finest.  The Parade through downtown sponsored by the American Legion begins at 6 p.m. Fireworks show will be held at Riverstone with music and dancing. Fireworks begin at dusk.

Star Spangled Spectacular Kennesaw State University:
This free, annual event features a patriotic concert with performances by the KSU Big Band and the KSU Summer Orchestra followed by a spectacular fireworks finale. In addition to the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m., be sure to arrive early to enjoy the Family Fun Festival beginning at 4 p.m. including games, face painting, balloon artists, food trucks, vendors and exhibitors from the KSU community and beyond, and more.

Celebrate Fourth of July at the 48th running of the AJC Peachtree Road Race, the world’s largest 10K and America’s largest road race! With 60,000 participants and over 200,000 spectators, this is one Atlanta tradition you don’t want to miss!

Callaway Gardens Star Spangled Beach Party:
The celebration begins early and lasts well into the night at our annual July 4th Star Spangled Beach Party at Robin Lake Beach. Highlights include beach activities, live music – headlined by the Swingin’ Medallions, the FSU Flying High Circus and our annual Fireworks Extravaganza. Be sure to pack plenty of red, white and blue for this All-American Weekend!
