I am thrilled to announce our business of the month for July. 9Round – West Cobb is a veteran owned business and it is located on Due West Rd, in Marietta.
9Round, the world’s fastest-growing kickboxing fitness franchise, is the first 9Round in the heart of West Cobb, and one of more than 800 locations worldwide (19 Countries). The 9Round workout consists of a 30-minute circuit format with routines that change daily, all led by trainers that are always onsite. Because of the circuit format, there are no class times and a new round starts every three minutes.
At 9Round, they offer a fast, full-body workout in a high-energy and exciting environment. They bring the proven tools and methods used by the professionals to the average person to help them meet their individual fitness goals.
I can always count on 9Round, their staff and their patrons for supporting our local military families. They have collected and donated to our military school supply drive and military toy drive. I am grateful for their giving spirit! Roni, the owner, is active within his community…..volunteering with veteran’s groups and first responders.
9Round workouts consist of nine, three-minute stations of activities that include cardio, weight training, abdominal exercises, kicks and punches on 100-pound + heavy bags, double-end, upper cut and speed bags. A real boxing bell rings to begin the workout, another to warn the round is ending and a third to signal the end. Members have 30-second active break between rounds. All 9Round workouts have zero person-to-person hitting. Instead, the circuit features techniques designed to blast calories and relieve stress. 9Round also provides members with a wearable heart rate monitor – 9Round PULSE – to easily track the effort put into each workout and maximize results.
Roni Meyerhoff, Ltcol USMC Retired, is the owner of 9Round – West Cobb. He is a native of Hartford, CT and a graduate from the University of Wisconsin. He served for 23 years on active duty, serving in multiple capacities and environments throughout the international landscape, and inclusive of combat environments. Roni is married to the former Lori Schaut of Kinston, NC. They have two children: Lauren and Dustin.
