The location for the packing party is confirmed: BounceU in Kennesaw. Please come and join us at the packing party, where we will assemble the care packages and disseminate them to volunteers for mailing. The packing party will be on 10/23/19, from 6:00-8:00 pm, BounceU in Kennesaw! Individuals, families, or businesses are needed to mail out the pre-packaged care packages. You will be mailing the packages to our deployed service members. It costs approximately $13.00 to mail one care package. If needed, we will provide you cash to mail the package/s. We will provide you addresses and custom forms. We only ask that you mail the care package/s by 11/10/19. You can take one package or as many as you would like.
Thank you cards and handwritten notes to the deployed service members are greatly needed. This is a great project for schools (art classes), Sunday Schools or Scouts.
Care package donations needed: gum, hard candy (nothing that can melt), trail mix, granola bars, Christmas (non-perishable) related cookies or candies, current magazines, beef jerky, individual powdered drink mixes (Gatorade for example), oral products, travel sized wet wipes, small travel games, small footballs, playing cards, books, all toiletries (male and female), lip balm, sunscreen (lotion only), Sudoku, Crosswords, Brainteasers, etc. Aerosol products can NOT be shipped overseas.
How you can help: donate items, mail a few packages, donate money to mail the care packages, volunteer your time to build the packages, spread the word, get your school, Scouts, Churches, and other organizations involved.
