
This salad will make a great addition for your next dinner party entree. You can also pair it with a protein for a wonderful meal that your family is sure to enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 clove Garlic, raw
1 (1 pound) loaf Bread, Italian
1 cup Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw
1 cup Cucumber, peeled, raw
1 cup Onions, raw
1 clove Garlic, raw
2 cups Basil, fresh
⅛ cup Spices, thyme, fresh
¼ cup Oil, olive, salad or cooking
2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
Directions:
Rub a peeled clove of garlic around a wooden salad bowl.
Pull apart or chop the bread into bite-size pieces.
In the prepared salad bowl, combine the bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, garlic, basil and thyme. Add enough olive oil and vinegar to lightly coat, toss and serve.
